Absolutely loved By The Chef Pizza! The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and everything we tried was delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s always great to find a local place that puts care into both their food and their customers. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending By The Chef Pizza to friends and family. If you’re looking for a great pizza spot in the Lakeland area, this place is definitely worth trying! 🍕❤️

I would travel for Chef Pete’s pizza, it is by far the best pizza we have ever had. The thin NY slices are better than any places we have tried in Florida. We love the Thursday special, 2 slices and a drink for like less than $8. The thick slices are also amazing-the spicy being a favorite for us. But Chef also has a lot of other great creations like Cacio e pepe and the saucy. We are always greeted with great service. We have brought many friends and family here and everyone has loved it! We have even been at other restaurants and recommended it to our servers when out and about.

I'm from New Jersey and have been in Lakeland Florida for 5 years desperately searching for any type of at least decent pizza I've tried a lot about 30 different pizza restaurants in the Lakeland area including auburndale Winter Haven and I found a couple that were okay until I found this place and my search is over these guys not only match the quality of New Jersey style pizza in my opinion their specialty pizzas surpass New Jersey pizza although they do not have a tomato pie specifically The OG Pizza is to die for along with their specialty pizzas if you're in Florida and you want good pizza you need to drive to BY THE CHEF PIZZA 🍕. YOUR SEARCH FOR GREAT PIZZA IN FLORIDA IS OVER TRUST ME!!!! I forgot to add there's a beautiful outside patio where you can sit and eat pizza next to a beautiful koi pond.

Absolutely mind blown from my visit to Bythechefpizza over in Lakeland (Dixieland). This is seriously a Top 3 in Florida and Top 10 anywhere for me! This is led by the prior pizzaiolo (Pete Garces) at Mama's TOO in Manhattan, NY, which was recently ranked #1 in the Country by Time Out: While I don't think Mama's TOO is #1, I do like By The Chef Pizza even more!! I decided to try several options, since it was my first time visiting and they offer several focaccia style squares, as well as traditional cheese NY. Their menu is fixed, and you can't create your own masterpiece, however you can remove toppings. They have a rotation of specialty creations as well. "The Roni Cup" - House made tomato sauce, mozzarella, high quality cup and char pepperoni, and I added a drizzle of hot honey “The BBQ” - Wine BBQ Sauce base, topped with mozzarella and chicken, finished with house made Gorgonzola dressing and pickled red onions “Espinaca” (Chef Special) - Béchamel sauce base, topped with Mozzarella, garlic sautéed spinach, wine marinated sausage and our house made marinara, finished with Pecorino Romano "The Tri-Color" - Our long-fermented, chef-crafted focaccia deep-dish crust topped w

Amazing pizza spot! The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with great flavor in every bite. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The specialty square slices are 🔥 — definitely a must-try. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. The place has a chill, casual vibe, perfect for a quick stop or takeout. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real NY-style pizza with a twist. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍕🔥
